I’ve been hearing a lot lately about the importance of green smoothies – which are basically smoothies that have any kind of leafy green added to them – lettuce, spinach, arugula, kale, etc. I had started playing around with this for my morning breakfasts and have found them to be surprisingly filling and tasty. I gave a seminar this weekend on functional fitness and natural nutrition and as always there was not enough time to go into enough detail about the ins and outs of functional fitness training or natural nutrition.
