Integrated Fitness and Nutrition Coaching
Includes personal training and nutritional counselling for a holistic approach to weight loss, health, and well-being. Each program includes:
Fitness Assessment: In order to efficiently meet your goals we need to determine where our starting point is. A detailed postural and joint range of motion assessment will identify any imbalances or weakness in the body so that an effective fitness program can be designed.
Nutrition Assessment: We will talk about your nutritional habits and how they are impacting your goals. Identify areas of weakness such as emotional eating, portion control and poor food choices. Learn about natural nutrition and how to select foods which are nutrient dense and provide your body the fuel it needs. We will look at how to build a meal plan so you know you are eating the right amounts of the right foods at the right times! We will talk about how to make good choices at the grocery store, in restaurants and when eating on the go.
Personal Training Sessions: Private personal training sessions with a personalized fitness program, built specifically to help you reach your goals. Workouts will be changed regularly to keep challenging the body and prevent plateaus. Workouts are based on functional fitness principals which aim to increase functional strength to improve the ability to perform daily activities while also building lean muscle, burning excess body fat and improving athletic ability. You will be led through:
- an effective warm up
- proper exercise technique
- appropriate cool-down and stretching
Ongoing nutritional counselling is included in the personal training session, where we will review your food journal and discuss any improvements or changes that can be made.
*Additional nutrition sessions will be added as needed to address any specific nutrition issues, otherwise nutritional counselling will be ongoing with each personal training session.
